Old Waconian Hits The Cobbles

Class of 2021 graduate, Paddy Bever made his Coronation Street debut last month, joining the cast as David Platt’s step-son, Max Turner. 

Paddy was an active drama performer at CHS saying ‘there was lots to get involved in, it was a lovely department’.  He considers his role as Reverend Samuel Parris in Arthur Miller’s, The Crucible, to be one of his favourites, alongside appearing in musical Chicago.

Paddy said: ‘it is a testament to the drama department that they have pupils who have gone on to make acting their full time job.’

Looking forward to the future, he said he is ‘excited to see the progression of his character and how his time on the cobbles will pan out’ .

We are sure he will continue being the star he is and can’t wait to see his career progress.
