Celebrating Our Dedicated Volunteers at the Supporters Lunch

Throughout the year, CHS is fortunate to be supported by volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to help make events possible. These volunteers play a crucial role in enhancing the CHS community spirit that embodies the school.

To express our gratitude, we hosted a special supporters lunch on Saturday as part of #VolunteersWeek to bring together our volunteers and give them a well-deserved moment of recognition and appreciation.

Over lunch our volunteers had the opportunity to speak with the F1 in Schools National Finalists group and admire the amazing artwork from our GCSE and A-Level artists showcased around the room. During the meal, our talented pupils Daniel, Anabelle, Ava, and Peggy performed, showcasing their incredible music talents – adding a special touch to the event.

After lunch, our volunteers explored the facilities on a tour of CHS. Many of our volunteers are Old Waconians, so this tour provided them with a unique opportunity to reminisce about their own school days, observe the changes that have taken place over the years, and appreciate what has stayed the same.
