One of India’s rising starts of cricket, who studied at CHS whilst developing his game in the UK, was bowled over when he met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Prithvi Shaw (pictured wearing a hat), who attended CHS as part of the UK-based charity Cricket Beyond Boundaries (CBB), met the royal couple during their first official visit to India.
They attended a cricket match at Mumbai’s Oval Maidan where thousands of young children meet to play cricket every day.
One of the country’s young cricket prodigies, Prithvi is the first young Indian player to have visited CHS specifically to learn about what it’s like to play cricket in the UK whilst attending and studying at the School.
