To mark the end of an amazing sporting season 48 students from Year 5 & Year 6 went to Jersey on a 3-day Sports Tour.
The students played netball, hockey, football, and rugby against very competitive opposition.
Mrs Walker said: “There was an array of success on our annual Jersey Sports Tour.”
Some of that success included winning against St Michael’s Prep School in Rugby and netball. CHS also won in Hockey against jersey Hockey Club and put up a good fight in football against Victoria College Prep.
On the last day of the Sports Tour team CHS gave an outstanding rugby performance against Jersey Reds, and triumphed once again over Accies in netball.
It wasn’t all sport for the young athletes; they got to have fun away from the playing fields at the zoo, waterpark, and beach. They went bowling and showed off their best moves at the evening disco. Some students even took a dip in the outdoor pool!
It was a brilliant trip and all the students did their teachers and CHS proud.
