It’s been another successful run for CHS’s active Hockey players who have been enjoying team successes and selections outside of School.
Six Year 9 boys who play for the Brooklands U14 Hockey team, represented North of England in the National Finals at Olympic Park in London.
Seb Yates, Felix Tully, Cameron Saunders, Morris Green, Jack Bailey and Luke Finigan won their group, and drew vs. Clifton in the final – only losing the national title on penalty flicks.
Alderley Edge U14 Girls were also at the National Finals and 3 CHS players Keira Owen, Hattie Snell and Sophie Smith helped their team to 5th place.
In the individual selections, congratulations also to Ted Ball, Will Grant and Fergus Banks in Year 7 who have been chosen for the Tensworth team.
