Congratulations to CHS’s Rugby 7s teams who have been displaying some strong skills after a series of wins over the past 7 days – picking up silverware in the process!
On 2nd March CHS’s U14 Rugby 7s team won the Adams Grammar School tournament. Winning every game they played, CHS finished with a 51-7 points win in the final.
Following the U14 success, CHS’s U13 7s became silver medal winners after playing some more fantastic rugby in the Terra Nova tournament on 8th March. Winning 5 of 6 games beating St Anselms, Stoneyhurst, Packwood, Terra Nova and Sedbergh, CHS only lost to Sandbach in their opening game – the team that went on to win the whole competition.
“The boys played very well and were a credit to the School,” said CHS team coach, Mr Kurt Foster.
