Altruistic student Jack has been raising money for The Christie with a hair-raising challenge; he will have all of his hair cut off in aid of the cause.
Jack, who has been growing his hair especially for the Manchester hospital where is brother is undergoing treatment, will be having his hair cut in front of his Year 11 classmates during next Thursday’s assembly by a special guest hairdresser.
Jack was aiming to raise £500 but has smashed his target and raised over £5000 so far.
