The junior school embarked on an exciting day full of creativity, teamwork, construction, devious challenges, ingenuity and most importantly, fun, all through the use of Lego.
Coming off timetable for the day each class took part in different activates and challenges using Lego. From building the tallest tower to making London landmarks, there were lots of creative ideas.
Each class took part in a House competition before coming together at the end of the day to take part in the big build competition.
Year group classes were competing against the other class in their year to build the tallest tower possible. It was a tense tournament with each group not only making the tallest tower but giving it style and creativity also.
Mr Offord said: “I was delighted with the success of the day, the engagement of all involved was fantastic to see and the Lego creations on show surpassed all expectations.
“The use of Lego is a fantastic tool to promote a wide range of skills within school and the success of Lego Day has inspired us to build on these foundations in the future.”
