Well done to the Year 5 and 6 Girls’ Rounders Team for becoming champions of the AJIS Rounders Competition.
The girls travelled to Lytham for the annual competition. They were unbeaten all morning; playing St Bedes, St Mary’s Prep and AKS.
The winning streak put them in the quarter final where it carried on and they beat Oldam Hulme, going through to the semi-final.
After a great match against King’s School Macclesfield the girls came out winners, taking them to the final.
After some excellent playing, the girls beat Withington Girl’s School, making them overall champions.
