CHS’s active Junior School pupils showed resilience and endeavour when they took part in the Whole School Cross Country.
Deputy Head of the Junior School, Mr Malcom Johnson said: “It was a really great effort from the pupils and a fantastic turn out with nearly all those in Year 3 to Year 6 taking part. Some of the Juniors even finished in the Top 10, an amazing achievement!”
He added: “Even those who found it difficult showed resilience and pushed on right until the very end.”
Year 6 pupil Daisy Lees was especially pleased with her performance, she said: “Wow, I loved it and came in the top 50, which included the seniors!”
The Whole School event which saw the Juniors and Seniors running alongside each other whilst competing for their House teams is an annual School event.
