Year 5 finished their class topic on the First World War with a special Remembrance ‘Memorial Walk.’
Learning about the School’s history and some of its Old Waconians, the pupils visited the war memorials around CHS and ventured in to Cheadle Hulme to look at the war graves in a local church yard.
Junior School Class Teacher, Mrs Kate Sargent said: “Year 5 have found their work on World War 1 fascinating. This walk helped make it seem relevant and should hopefully make the meaning of Remembrance Day more clear to them.”
