Congratulations to active Lower Sixth student Jacob who has retained his two Karate world titles at the 8th WKC World Championships in Portugal.
Picking up 8 medals in the competition, Jacob triumphed winning three Gold, four Silver and one Bronze, retaining his individual junior world titles in Weapons Kata and collecting two prizes more than at last year’s event.
Also making his debut in kickboxing at the Championships, Jacob represented England in the light-contact category, picking up a medal in the cadet boys +65kg section.
Jacob’s success tops off a busy year of competition during which he has successfully defended his National and European titles.
