Rising gymnastics star Lauren has once again been selected to join the England gymnastics squad.
Her performance at the English Championships earlier this month, together with placing 9th at the British Challenge Cup last year has secured her a place on the squad for this year.
Year 10 student Lauren’s success also comes after receiving her highest score ever on bars and floor – helping England’s B team finish 2nd (with Great Britain finishing 1st and the England A team finishing 3rd) at her first international competition in Aldershot in October.
CHS Sports Coach, Miss Kayleigh Humphreys said: “It is brilliant news and we are so proud of Lauren’s achievements!”
Lauren is now working on new moves in the gym to increase her difficulty marks ahead of future competitions.
She is also looking forward to the English Championships in February 2018 which will be used in selecting the team for the Commonwealth Games.
