Year 6 were joined by their families and teachers for the Year 6 Leavers’ Celebration, marking their last week as CHS Junior School pupils.
In a special Leavers’ Ceremony, Junior School Head, Mrs Barbara Bottoms presented the pupils with certificates and book prizes for their fantastic achievements.
The pupils, who will join CHS’s Senior School in Year 7 from September, also performed one final play, ‘The Amazing Adventures of Superstan,’ before their families were invited to an Afternoon Tea in the Senior School Dining Hall.
Mrs Bottoms said: “It’s always sad to say goodbye to our Year 6 pupils, many of whom will have been with us since Reception, but it’s also a happy occasion and celebration of how far they[‘ve come. I wish them all the very best for their years ahead. I hope they keep on doing all the things they have done so well as Juniors and continue to enjoy learning new things as they go.”
