On 30 January the U11 Girls Hockey team went to Manchester High to compete in the Greater Manchester qualifying round for the National schools competition, winning all of their matches.
They played against Manchester High first, winning 5-0 and then another victory against St Bedes, winning 3-0.
The team will now progress into the next round of the national schools competition, representing greater Manchester. Coaches Mrs Walker and Miss Newton said: “We were so impressed with the way they played together as a team, showing true grit and determination to succeed.”
