U14s Crowned National Netball Champions

CHS’s U14 Netballers have picked up not one, but two cups as an U13 Netball Team. In March last year the team won U13s Independent Schools Cup and have recently won a rescheduled final, The Sisters in Sport U13s Cup.

The Sisters in Sport U13s cup final was postponed last year due to Covid-19 but that didn’t stop the U13 (now 14) team fighting as hard as ever to make sure they came home as National Champions.

Sisters n Sport gives the girls a chance to play the sport they love and compete with teams across the country. This competition gave our U14 team the opportunity to travel down to Surrey to compete against Putney High School and secure the victory by winning 43-37.

I was really nervous going into the game as we hadn’t played all together as a team properly since our last final, but once the game started it was really exciting. I think we managed to play well considering how long it had been and I’m really happy we’ve won both cups.
