Waconians return from enriching Swiss Exchange

Five Lower Sixth Students have returned to CHS, after  a two-week exchange program with KZU, CHS’s esteemed partner school near Zurich, Switzerland.

This exchange, which followed KZU students’ immersion into Waconian life during the Autumn term, enabled our pupils to experience the unique culture and environment of Switzerland firsthand.

CHS’s partnership with KZU began in 2015, and provides students from both CHS and the Swiss School with an opportunity to broaden their horizons by engaging in cross-cultural learning. For two weeks, Waconians Luna, Rio, Lottie, Toby & Annabel have embraced the opportunity to attend lessons alongside their Swiss peers, balancing their CHS studies remotely while fully engaging in the vibrant Swiss culture.

CHS Head of Co Curricular, Mr John Wilson noted: “We’re pleased that this exchange continues to be a successful  and enriching experience for our students. The exchange is a great way for Waconians to develop important skills like cultural capital and resilience and we look forward to welcoming the next group of KZU students to CHS in the Autumn Term.”
