Senior School
The Vital Middle Years
Senior School is a demanding time for every pupil as they work towards public examinations, develop their skills and interests and meet the challenges of being a teenager.
A strong pastoral care system centred on the principles of well-being and which embraces social inclusivity, builds upon the School’s founding philanthropic values.
Engaged with Learning
A varied and broad curriculum offers a fantastic introduction to Senior School life. Around the core subjects, there are plenty of opportunities for pupils to develop their creative and linguistic skills whilst discovering new passions.
Whether working individually, in pairs, or part of a large group, the emphasis is on flexibility, building skills and developing confidence in every learner. We positively challenge pupils in ways that raise their academic achievement. This enables them to be the best they can be, expand their aptitudes and interests, develop their self-confidence and strengthen their social skills.
Whether success on the stage, in a concert, through co-curricular competitions, on the sports field or through expeditions all plays a part in the development of pupils and their sense of personal achievement.
