Head of Business & Economics

Required September 2021 

Cheadle Hulme School seeks to appoint an outstanding Head of Business & Economics to join one of the country’s leading 3-18 independent day schools. Details of the role can be found in the applicant pack below.

Payroll Officer

Cheadle Hulme School seeks to appoint an outstanding Payroll Officer. Working under the direction of the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be  responsible for administering and overseeing the payroll, as well as the range of associated activities within the Finance Office. 

Part time and full time applications will be considered, with a minimum requirement of 0.75 FTE. The salary for the role will be £22-25k FTE.

Gardener/Groundsperson

Cheadle Hulme School seeks to appoint an outstanding Gardener/Groundsperson to work 15 hours per week (Monday & Tuesday). Set in 83 acres of countryside, the School’s grounds include seven grass pitches, one all-weather pitch, one 3G pitch, four courts, and three acres of statement lawns and gardens. Further information is available in the job description below.

Those shortlisted for interview will be required to complete an application form and successful applicants will undertake stringent recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS.The rate for this role is £9.35 per hour. 

Apprentice Gardener

Cheadle Hulme School seeks to appoint an enthusiastic Apprentice Gardener. 

Your apprenticeship will involve working 4 days per week as part of the Estates team at Cheadle Hulme School, maintaining the School’s 83 acres which includes seven grass pitches, one all-weather pitch, one 3G pitch, four courts, and three acres of statement lawns and gardens.

 One day per week will also be spent at Reaseheath College, studying a level 2 apprenticeship in Horticulture Landscape Operative.

The apprenticeship will last for 18-24 months dependent on experience. 

The rate of pay is £7 per hour, for 37.5 hours per week.
