Graduate Sports Assistant
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Graduate Sports Assistant to join our nationally successful PE and Sports Department for one year from September 2020. The post holder will assist and support staff in the delivery of teaching, coaching and fixtures across the department. Having experience and qualifications in Hockey and/or Netball would be advantageous.
This role provides the opportunity to gain experience in an educational environment. You will be given the opportunity to further your professional development and we would look to create opportunities or projects that you may wish to lead upon, to give further responsibility and an insight into teaching and coaching.
The successful candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual who desires to contribute to a forward-thinking and caring team of professionals.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in as many of the following sports as possible: Hockey, Netball, Athletics/Cross-Country, Swimming, Gymnastics, Tennis, Rounders, Football, Badminton, Cricket, Rugby and Basketball.
They will also possess good IT skills and experience in or a willingness to learn how to analyse sporting performance.
This role is a full-time, term-time position.
This role attracts a salary of circa £23,000 (FTE) per annum, which is circa £17,000 (pro rata).
